Structure principle
Because of the great difference between the ultimate strength of granite under tension and compression, the stone roller usually adopts a prestressed structure. The granite roller body is tightly pressed on the steel mandrel with nuts and washers with left and right threads respectively . This structure can reduce the tensile stress in the granite roller body. If the pre-compression stress is large enough, the stone roller body can only be subjected to compressive stress.
