Product Description
Calender mainly consists of roller,rack,backplane,adjustment device,transmission system,roller temperature control device,security device,lubricating device.The roller is made of chilled cast iron alloys,whose work surface has high hardness,wear-resistance and durable life.
Soft calender is a machine for paper calendering composed of a hard roll and a soft roll. Hard rollers are made of chilled cast iron or alloyed cast iron. The inside of the roller drum is heated by oil, hot water, steam or electricity. The soft roll (elastic roll) is a controllable medium-high roll, and the roll surface is covered with epoxy resin, nylon, synthetic rubber, polyester, urethane and other materials. The soft calender has a set of two rolls or a set of three rolls, and the soft and hard rolls are combined to form a variety of types. The number of rolls and the covering material are determined by the requirements of the finishing paper. Soft calendering is a process in which heat and mechanical energy are transferred to the paper web. The fiber composition is vitrified by high temperature, and then the friction force generated by the mechanical pressure and the speed difference between the rollers makes the fibers in the paper web better bond, produce luster and improve smoothness, has little effect on the strength of the paper, and is suitable for a variety of paper finishing.
