Product Description
Blind press rollers are also made by hanging rubber or polyurethane on the iron roller core. Blind holes with a diameter of 2mm and a depth of 12-15mm are drilled on the rubber surface. Blind holes of different depths and alternating rows can also be drilled. The opening rate of blind hole rollers is about 25%-30%, and the volume of its holes is about 5 times larger than that of grooved rollers, so it can accommodate more pressing water. The solid part of the blind hole roller is not as easy to damage as the grooved roller, so the roller can be covered with a softer rubber layer with a hardness of about 70-90 Shore A. As a result, the wear of the felt can be reduced, and a wider pressure zone can be provided, which is conducive to increasing the pressure of the pressure zone line. Compared with the grooved roller with a groove depth of 2.5mm, the blind hole with a depth of 15mm can be ground many more times before re-coating the grooved roller.
In double press felt pressing, both the upper and lower pressing rollers can be pressed with blind holes to achieve symmetrical drainage on both sides, which is a unique advantage different from groove pressing. Taking into account the needs of high-line pressing, the hardness of the rubber layer of the two blind hole rollers is generally around 90 Shore hardness.
